Kaid Panek
Where Are They Now? | November 2025 | By Samantha Henderson

Meet Kaid Panek,
Former Lehi and Westlake FFA member and 2011-2012 Utah FFA State Vice President. Kaid now works as the Twin Rivers Media Brand Ambassador & Multimedia Content Strategist.

Kaid grew up in a small town and joined FFA because it got him involved with other youth that shared similar interests. Kaid was a Lehi FFA member for two years and then transferred to Westlake FFA when it was chartered.
As an FFA member, Kaid participated in many Career and Leadership Development Events. He competed in Meat Evaluation, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Ag Mechanics, Parliamentary Procedure, and Range. Kaid says these contests, “gave me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and learn to have fun through it all.”
One of Kaid’s favorite FFA memories was being selected for State Office. Kaid remembers traveling for chapter visits from “literally state corner to state corner”. Kaid says, “Being a state officer really pushed me out of my comfort zone. It helped me realize that there is value to being myself. The biggest lesson I learned - Bet on myself.”
After serving as a State Officer, Kaid married Lindsy who is also from the Westlake FFA Chapter. Kaid and Lindsy were both chapter officers together. Kaid served as Chapter President and Lindsy served as the Chapter Historian. After getting married, they moved to Idaho and Kaid started “leaning into an ag career.”
Kaid went into production agriculture with his family. Kaid started documenting his life and daily tasks on social media. This led him to agricultural communications and marketing with Twin Rivers Media. Twin Rivers Media is home of American Cattlemen and American Dairymen. Kaid is a multimedia strategist, which he explains as “looking at ways to tell an engaging story about agriculture in multiple different formats, and creating that content”.
Kaid says, “FFA has given me most of my life. It’s funny how things work out!” Through FFA he met his wife and started a career in agriculture. Through FFA he also met his best friend and “brother”, Sawyer Peacock. Sawyer and Kaid were on the same State Officer Team. During their year of service, they forged a friendship and still talk daily.
Kaid stays involved with FFA through the livestock show aspect. Through his social media he can collect and boost animal projects across the country. Kaid has built a community on social media that has allowed him to be involved in many agricultural programs from coast to coast. Kaid was also the keynote speaker for the Utah FFA Area 3 Leadership Conference in Tooele, Utah in 2024.
To anyone thinking about joining FFA and those already in FFA, Kaid says, “DO IT. Have fun doing it! Be yourself and see what it has to offer. You never know what will strike a chord and set your life on a different path. Remember, learning what you don’t like to do is just as useful as figuring out what you like to do. Nobody is perfect, and tomorrow always has the potential to be better than today! Show up with a smile, put in the work, and let the fun begin! If you are unapologetically yourself there is nothing to hide and you will find your people, or better yet, your people will find you!”
